A four-year-old girl feels mighty grown-up as she looks back on her life and compares how she dealt with life as a baby with her newfound maturity as an older child in When I Was Little: A Four-Year-Old's Memoir of Her Youth

This first children's book authored by actress Jamie Lee Curtis features cheerful, detailed illustrations that help demonstrate the progress the girl has made since babyhood--her "silly" baby hair versus her longer, more versatile hairdo of today; riding in a car like a grown-up instead of in a car seat; her full set of teeth (that she can brush all by herself!) versus the measly two teeth she had as a baby, and so forth. This fun book clearly demonstrates and celebrates the pride children take in their accomplishments.
