 Who
better to introduce your child to the world of art than the
colorful gang from Blue’s Clues? Truth is, every child is born
an artist, and no computer program is necessary to inspire
children to enjoy creating. However, this program provides kids
with very fun art extension activities, including drawing with
Chalk Girl (pictured).
What this title is missing
is a good freeform art activity. Unfortunately, there is a
draw-between-the-lines attitude in the game that doesn’t quite
gel with the whole Blue’s Clues philosophy. However, this title
remains fun and appealing, and boasts an introduction to the world
beyond primary colors like no other.
In fact, after spending a bit of time with this program, your
preschooler will likely be more color-literate than you are (think
vermilion and chartreuse).
Pros:
- Graphics
are gorgeous, characters appealing.
- Children
can spend hours working towards the program's goal.
